Altar Set: Pair of Candlesticks with matching Crucifix

Ref 8527. Ornate French Gothic decorative brass gilt Altar Set comprising Crucifix and pair of Altar Candlesticks.
Richly decorated throughout with engraving and scrollage work.
There are coloured cabuchon stones to the knop above the base, above which is a larger knop with large raised gargoyles set round.
The base has a raised image of Christ, surrounded by two raised angels, with gargoyles below.
The candlesticks have a decorative drip pan at the top with sockets to hold the candles.
The crucifix is finished with coloured enamel work to the centre and the points, this is repeated on both sides.
Around the corpus are red cabuchon stones, and at the centre of the reverse of the cross is an enamelled Agnus Dei.
Height of cross 101cm; Width of Cross 38.5cm; Base 21.5cm across the widest points.
Candlesticks height 59cm; base 19.5cm across the widest points; socket size 3cm.

Ref 7814. Solid brass late 19th century French ornate Gothic style High Altar Set comprising six candlesticks with matching crucifix, together with a wooden Tabernacle.
All pieces finished with coloured decorative work and numerous coloured cabuchon stones throughout.
Candlesticks 64cm high to top of drip pan excluding prickets; Base 27cm across the maximum points; Prickets 15cm high, circumference 8.5cm at bottom.
Crucifix 66.5cm high by 27cm across the arms; base 27cm across the maximum points.
Tabernacle measures 37.5cm x 28cm x 28cm externally.
